Do you find yourself unable to break out of old habits or ways of thinking? Are you ready to make deep and lasting changes in your life? My goal as a therapist is to support your process of change by helping you to explore and transform the feelings and beliefs that prevent you from living your fullest life. I practice mindfulness-based psychotherapy. This approach recognizes the fundamental connection between the mind and body. It helps us to slow down and pay attention to what is happening outside our conscious awareness, such as the limiting beliefs and assumptions that we use to filter our experience.
My style is warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I am comfortable working with people from a variety of backgrounds, including people who identify as LGBTQIA+, Spanish-speakers, and spiritual seekers of all kinds. I am committed to social justice and anti-oppression work and see therapeutic work as a necessary part of our collective liberation. Above all, I try to nurture a safe space in which you are free to explore and discover new aspects of yourself. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, relationship problems or difficulty achieving your goals, I would be glad to assist you on your journey toward healing.
